Open water swimming — UltraSwim 33.3

We have renewed our partnership with deboer Wetsuits for another season

Why deboer?

When it comes to gaining an edge in open water, every detail matters. deboer has established itself as a rapidly evolving premier wetsuit brand since 2019. These wetsuits are engineered to the highest level. Each suit is developed with a focus on hydrodynamics, buoyancy distribution, and unrestricted movement, helping athletes maintain optimal body position and efficiency in the water.

By working closely with leading coaches, scientists, and elite athletes, deboer continuously refines its designs to ensure measurable performance gains. The team at deboer includes some of the world’s best olympic swimmers such as Caleb Dressel.

Proven in extreme conditions

In 2024, deboer took wetsuit innovation even further through its collaboration with Ross Edgley. For his record-breaking 510km continuous swim down the Yukon River in Canada, deboer worked closely with Edgley to develop a wetsuit capable of handling conditions few athletes will ever face. These included:

Advanced thermal insulation

Durability for the harsh conditions

A specifically designed suit to allow him the flexibility to maintain his stroke

Deboer at UltraSwim 33.3

At UltraSwim 33.3, these wetsuits (and skin-suits) are very popular. They are focused on performance, designed to feel like a second skin. They accommodate for all your needs, whether it be performance, insulation or fit. Check out their shop here.

By aligning with a brand that prioritises innovation and real-world performance, UltraSwim continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering the best possible experience for swimmers at every level.

The founder of deboer wetsuits, Alex De Boer, swam with us in Greece and will be returning to swim #12CROATIA this year. He really understands the needs of long distance swimming, having been there himself. The commitment to understanding the demands of the sport is something we really value in our partners.
