UNITED KINGDOM - Seamus Bennett

With a sports science background, Seamus is an ice mile swimmer and English Channel relay swimmer who coaches endurance athletes.

Seamus Bennett, Swim Smooth certified coach since 2016, runs Swim Smooth Suffolk for his pool squad sessions, one to one video analysis and one to one sea swimming sessions. Seamus is a lifelong sea swimmer and founder of Felixstowe Swimscapes, the biggest and most welcoming open water swimming group on the east coast. He is a highly experienced and qualified open water and pool coach, having been with Swim Smooth for over 10 years, still growing his squads to record levels thanks to his unwavering passion for swimming and exceptional understanding, support, motivation and empathy for his swimmers. Seamus's own swimming achievements include an Ice Mile (2017), a four person Channel Relay (2016) and Sealand solo (2025) as well as crossing Lake Geneva in 2022.
